Set up the ChatToMarket extension in under 5 minutes and start turning your Cursor chats into social media posts.
Open Cursor (or VS Code) and go to the Extensions panel (Ctrl+Shift+X / Cmd+Shift+X).
Search for “ChatToMarket” and click Install.
Alternatively, install from the VS Code Marketplace or Open VSX.
Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P).
Run ChatToMarket: Sign Up and enter your email and a password (min 6 characters).
Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the link to verify your account.
Open the Command Palette again and run ChatToMarket: Log In.
Enter the email and password you just created.
Your session token is securely stored in your OS keychain — you won’t need to log in again unless you sign out.
Use Cursor’s AI chat as you normally would — ask questions, debug code, plan features.
ChatToMarket reads your local Cursor chat history (read-only). Make sure you’ve had at least one conversation before generating posts.
Run ChatToMarket: Generate Posts from the Command Palette.
Results appear in a WebView panel with tabs, character counts, and one-click copy.
Head to the web dashboard and navigate to Settings → Connections.
Connect X (Twitter), LinkedIn, or Reddit to publish directly from the dashboard — no copy-paste needed.
In the dashboard, go to Settings → Voice Profiles to create a custom writing style.
Define a name, description, and example posts. Your custom profiles will appear in the extension’s profile picker.
The free plan includes 2 post generations per day. Need more?
Run ChatToMarket: Upgrade to Pro in the Command Palette or visit the Billing page for unlimited generations, scheduling, and all supported platforms.
Your code is safe. ChatToMarket only reads the chat transcript — your source code and workspace files are never sent anywhere. API keys, tokens, emails, and file paths are automatically redacted before anything leaves your machine.
